Nurse Aide Training / Home Health Aide Program

During the Nursing Aide Training/Home Health Aide program, you will learn the fundamentals of:

  • Working in a long-term care facility
  • Medical knowledge
  • Caring for daily activities
  • Infection control and common diseases
  • Observing a resident
  • Skills for assisting a resident
  • Feeding and personal hygiene
  • Clinical experience
  • Psychosocial issues & taking care of yourself

Nurse Aide Training/Home Health Aide courses: 137 hours
(Nursing Aide Training course: 122 hours and Home Health Aide course: 15 hours)
